I watched that clip last night Nigel 😭. The market has absolutely crashed for classic motorcycles (and it also appears classic  cars as well) but with the obvious exception of Broughs. TBH the market was overpriced to the point of being unsustainable as it was in the mid 1980's. I expected the downturn but not to the extent where it really has nosedived so quickly. A lot of 'collectors' have seen their investments wiped out and will have to sell at a loss or hold on to their 'investments' whilst the market recovers but I think the golden days are well and truly over for at least the next 15-20 years.
The price of s/h modern bikes is also on the floor and a lot of dealers are going under as a result.
There is a good side to all this, now is the time to buy the bike you always promised yourself but could never afford, it will be half price or less today😉.
As for my Jota, that's been away for nearly four years now and I'm fighting to get it back but that's another sorry take😭.

It must be difficult as a dealer to navigate this shift in value of stock.

For those buying though, some nice bikes come into better range.

I don't recall you mentioned your Jota problem Dave, was thinking it was tucked up warmly in your garage.
