Would that be Ashford? They quoted me 400 quid for my downpipes. Had to politely decline

Hi Mick,
Thanks for the reply, I have contacted Sean at the company, he emailed the cost and approximate turn around time...now work in progress.
Thanks again

Alan,
i rang the Ashford guy, £350 for the rear mudguard (in his dreams) so now i have posted it to Bob Cooper of
Chrome Restoration Services
Coventry. the quote was 85+vat + any repairs. as there is two areas of bad rust/hole.
so when i get it back i will post the pics and prices.

Hi Billy,
Thanks for the reply, I picked up a card (Bob Cooper) at the Motorcycle mechanics Show on the 21st at Stafford, his prices are very reasonable, but my items for re-chroming are now work in progress

Had my stuff back form Bob, its great. will put some pics up tonight. i have left some more bits with him. hes a great guy but a bit different if you know what i mean. when you ring time is not a thing he has in spades. also no mobile or card machine. so i either a check or drive there. but well worth it as his prices are half of the Kent company.

Yes, Bob has done quite a few things for me, both on the Honda and on my Matchless. I usually drop the items off at his house in Stafford and give him a ring a couple of weeks later. The quality of his chroming is as good as if not better than other companies that I`ve used in the past. Just DON`T use a well known firm in Hull, very costly and rubbish at listening to instructions!!!
Cheers, Nigel.
