400/4 prices appear to be dropping, the were a couple at another recent auction that didn't do very well.
I think you are right Ash - there were scant details about the 400s in the descriptions especially about any engine restoration or even if they were all runners.I suspect another factor is that there are a lot of 400s in the market to choose from as they are a popular bike.

People pop their clogs and then you suddenly find they have far flung children who materialize. They price the property really low to get rid with minimal hassle/upset/having to constantly travel the long distances and the property sells almost instantly for far less than it's really worth.I guess a deceased bike is a reminder of their loved ones and the sight of it upsets them quite often Or the reverse happens where they can't bear to ever part with it and it lies unloved for decades.
