More importantly Redice is also a sohc sponsor so he puts money back into this site. A shame the likes of DS do not.
I don't see sponsorship as giving money away I see it as an investment in a company's own future with a sound eye on long term growth whilst rewarding the market place that it supplies.
I have just seen the advert from one of the sponsors selling the tank decals, I take it that once they are applied a clear coat can be applied over the top of the decals.I wouldn’t want to dissolve or damage the decals by applying the clear coat after spending £60 and also the hassle of stripping them off again an cleaning up the tank.Have there been any past posts showing the positioning dimensions and correct way to apply them ?

There is no reason to put clear over your decals on your 400 four. The factory did not do it and most of them look great 50 years later. Pic of mine I refinished earlier this year.When striping the original tank and side covers the decals came off intact with a heat gun.
